Today we celebrated my Grandmas 90th birthday.
She looks AMAZING. I am not kidding, she looks better than many in their 70s. She still lives in her bi-level home which she has been in since her husband passed away in his 40s. She has since worked in town after having to leave the farm, looked after her house and huge garden all on her own. She hardly even takes an aspirin and loves to go "hang out" at the A&W or pizza place. She has great determination and a postitive attitude which I think are secrets to her success.
Anyway, was a nice day, Chad met a few more of my relatives and now we are full of good food. I just hope I get some of her genetics!
That's awesome. Lindsay's Grandmother is the same way she is 82 and still lives in her bungalo in Surrey BC by herself. I think its that independence that keeps the older people young and fit. We have a neighbour that lives across that street that is 87 and mows her lawn, gardens and is outside every day. I hope we are like that when we get older!
