Grrrrreaaat Day! Woo Hoo

Today was a good day.  Nothing really special happened but was a great day none the less.  I went to the final day of my course and we wrote the course exam.  I passed and got my certificate and the best thing of all was we each got a goofy promotional pen that says "hey, don't forget to smile laugh and have a grrreaaat day!  wooo hoo".

It's funny how people like such dumb little things like this. Or maybe it's just me.   I plan to take it to work and annoy a few of my colleagues.

When I got home today I was pleasantly surprised.  Chad was home and he had done pretty much all the weekend chores!  Laundry done, folded and put away, vacuuming and grass all cut.  That was so nice to come home to as usually a big part of Saturday is spent getting all this done.

Then he took me for dinner and a movie!  What a great dood  : )  We went to see Harry Potter as I have wanted to see the final one.  It was really excellent.  I find I have liked the Potter movies more and more as they progressed.  I think because the earlier ones had lots of silly things in them that were interesting but I prefer them now that they have gotten older and the story has become more singularly focused and darker.  There were some great effects in it with a cool dragon and a fire dragon effect. There were also some great wizard battles with the good professors of the school dishing out some wand whoop ass!   It was in 3D which it seems is becoming standard now so some things were coming out of the screen at you.

My best friends hubby also got to come home from the hospital today after 2 weeks.  He has his colostomy but with any luck it will be removed in a few months.  The best part is he is on the road to recovery and over the worst it seems.

Now I am at home with my jammies on typing this post.  The weekend is here and the housework all done, so more time to just enjoy.

Hope you all have great weekends planned as well.
